Treatment Care

PLEASE READ BEFORE BOOKING!

It is crucial to follow our pre- and post-treatment care guidelines, as they are designed to prepare your skin and body for a safe and effective treatment and to ensure optimal recovery. While we take every precaution, please be aware that risks may still occur.

Pre-Treatment Care

  • Local Anaesthetic
We are not permitted to provide local anaesthetic to our clients due to its classification; however, if you wish to have numbing cream for pain relief during your treatment, you may bring your own. EMLA® cream is a popular option, which you can buy from local pharmacies.

If you do not prepare numbing cream, we can provide ice packs to help relieve pain.

    Pregnancy and Breastfeeding:
Procedures cannot be performed during pregnancy and breastfeeding. Due to hormonal changes, the skin can become sensitive and may affect the recovery process after treatment.

    Chemical Peeling
If you have recently had a chemical peel (glycolic, salicylic, AHA, TCA, etc.), your skin may be irritated. Please wait at least 2 weeks before undergoing another treatment.

    Skincare Products (with strong ingredients)
Using products with strong ingredients, such as exfoliants or retinoids, can make the skin sensitive, and affect the recovery process after treatment. Please avoid these products for at least one week prior.

    Injections (steroid, botox, fillers, etc.)
Injections can reduce the skin's immune response, increasing the risk of infection. Please avoid these injections for at least 4 weeks prior.

    Eczema/Dermatitis
If the skin is already in an inflamed state, it may worsen after treatment. Please ensure that symptoms have completely resolved, then allow another 4 weeks before scheduling a treatment.

Allergies (dyes, latex, local anaesthetics such as Lidocaine)
If you have allergies to cosmetic ingredients or dyes, it can lead to severe reactions after treatment, so it’s important that you verify this with your healthcare provider before the procedure.

    Laser Treatments
If you have recently undergone laser treatment, your skin may be irritated. Please avoid laser treatments for at least 4 weeks prior.

    LED Treatments
Please wait at least 2 weeks after LED treatments, as your skin may become sensitive and affect recovery.

    Facial Cosmetic Surgery
If you have recently undergone cosmetic surgery, please consult with your doctor before your treatment, as it may add extra stress to the healing skin.

    Alcohol
Alcohol increases blood circulation and can cause bleeding, affecting the recovery process. Please do not drink any alcohol for at least 48 hours prior.

Medication and Supplements Certain medications and supplements may thin the blood and increase the risk of bleeding. Please avoid painkillers and blood thinners such as aspirin and ibuprofen for at least 3 days prior, and refrain from taking fish oil and coenzyme Q10 supplements for at least 2 weeks.

Always consult your doctor before stopping or adjusting any medications or supplements.

    Diabetes
At this time, we do not perform any procedures on individuals with diabetes due to high risks and potential for slower wound healing.

    Cold-related Inflammation
If you currently have a cold or inflammation, your immune system may be weakened, increasing the risk of infection after treatment. Please postpone treatment until you have fully recovered.

    Exercise/Gym
Please avoid excessive exercise the day before the treatment, as it can raise blood pressure and increase the risk of bleeding.

Please let us know if you had any previous eye problems or surgeries.

    Allergies

Post-Treatment Care

    · Please do not smoke, vape, and drink alcohol for one week, as it will cause inflammation and hinder recovery.

    · Apply regeneration cream mornings and evenings for one week - we recommend Bepanthen Antiseptic Cream.
